Smokys Blue Gem
We bought this mare as a long weanling and she has been an exceptional producer.  Her foals are always well built and she is a gentle mare with no vices.  This mare is slightly navicular and is for sale because she can only be used as a broodmare and we are cutting down our herd.  She gets around great and most of the time you don't even notice an issue but she probably wouldn't do well in a pasture that was larger than 40 acres.  She sells "as is".  We tried to breed her once in 2005 and once in 2006 but it appears she didn't settle.  A vet exam determined she should be breedable.  There has been no history that would suggest otherwise.  She's produced 100% grulla foals out of 6 babies including the one in our sidebar and header.
