This mare tested homozygous for black points (EE). No red-factor is present, meaning she will have 100% black legged foals. Because her sire was grullo, we know she also carries a recessive agouti (a) allele. Recessive agoutis are required to produce grullo, black and blue roan and not all horses carry them. This filly is very kind, gentle and easy going type of horse. She has 60 Professional riding training. Showy has no vices that we know of. She is easy to load, trim, tie, saddle, etc. This mare could easily stay part of our breeding program, and if she isn't sold, that's just what she will do. She's one of those mares that does what you ask, when you ask. She has great bone, straight legs, a nice neck and long hip. |
