Photo on 7/17/05 as Astro is shedding out. Good dun factor, very nice foal.

I have to say, I'm impressed. I know Grudini is a really muscular horse, and Lynn sure is pretty, but wow, did they combine well together. This little guy reminds me more of his sire every day. He has a really pretty head, nice neck, and just look at that muscle. As good a chest as we have on our colts this year.

If he turns out like his sire, he'll make as good a riding horse as anyone could ever own...Calm, Calm, Calm...Now that's a horse that's fun to ride...

Take a look - Grudini at 3 weeks, Astro at 2 1/2 weeks. Did Astro have a mother? He looks just like Grudini did at that age...

New photos taken 9/23/05 shows Doug leading with a rope around Astro's neck (no halter), that he is easy to get a halter on, that he picks up his feet, and that he is friendly.
