Big Roanie is Doug's riding mare.  She's a been there, done that horse from working cattle, branding calves, team penning, roping, sheriff's mounted posse, etc.  We bought her off a production sale in 1999 as a weanling.  See her in person and know why she's called "Big Roanie" and not just "Roanie".  She brings new meaning to the word "huge".
